Forgive me for going all elementary on you here, but this rule is a complex reference to the Golden Rule. The Golden Rule being "Treat Others How You Want To Be Treated". Of course, this rule was introduced to us while our ages were still in the single digits. Now, you are in double digits, and you are most likely dating. That being said, if you want respect from her, then you need to respect her. It's not a hard concept, but it's an integral concept, if you want any hope of a solid and happy relationship. Just treat her like a queen, and everyone will be a happy camper.
