Rule #216

ALWAYS HOLD THE DOOR FOR A LADY, NOT BECAUSE SHE IS A LADY, BUT BECAUSE YOU ARE A GENTLEMAN.

There is not much for me to interpret here. Though, after contemplating this rule, I have concluded that I, myself, may, in fact, be a gentleman. I hold doors for people all of the time, not just ladies.

Fun fact: Back in medieval times, holding the door for someone was a promise that you would not kill them. Of course, extreme measures such as this are not taken anymore, but holding the door for someone now holds a much different meaning.
