Rule #301

A GENTLEMAN ALWAYS HAS TIME FOR HIS GIRLFRIEND. IF HE DOES NOT HAVE TIME, HE MAKES TIME. NO EXCUSES.


You need to invest time in your girl. It is as simple as that. My best friend is always doing her damnedest to make time for her man. He agrees to the plans and then breaks them to go and hang out with his friends. It breaks my heart to see her dealing with this. At the same time, she should have put her foot down a long long time ago. 

Just the other night, she texted me in rage. Finally, she was spending time with her man, but all he did was sit down in the basement with his brother and his brother's friends and play video games. She then went on to complain that this was usually how their quality time went. He would play video games and completely ignore her, excluding the occasional small smile or shy kiss. After trying to get her to realize that she deserves better, she finally pulled him aside, later that night, and discussed with him the issue that she is having with his behavior in their relationship. He explained himself (a lame excuse in my book, but this is her relationship), and they spent the night sitting around a campfire on the ice. 

You see, gentlemen, you need to either find time or make time for your lady. Most women will not just sit there and deal with it like my best friend did. Her and her boyfriend are engaged. Their level of commitment and unconditional love is most likely a bit different from yours. 

Just make time for her, and she will make time for you.
